It is not a sapphire (or other precious stones), but more as a stone of agate.
it is sliced agate blue.
Clearly they are made with semi-precious stones, Amethyst, Agate etc, real cute. I also bought a set of napkin rings as a favour with small clusters attached.
The Winery I bought them in does not have them in stock anymore, and irrecoverable...
